Percussion
Percussion is an element of flamenco. Its soon found its place in a short space of time as an essential part of flamenco. It would be impossible to conceive the last 10 years of flamenco dancing without the cajón*.
Rhythm and compás are basic in flamenco percussion. Taller Flamenco bases its lessons on Rhythm, compás and technique (with the Cajón).

The student may decide the amount of time he/she wishes to dedicate to percussion.
*Cajón: is literally a box which is played with the palm of the hand and lays down the rhythm for song and dance.
