Flamenco dance and technique courses, to begin with it or to improve . All levels. Private or in group. 7 students maximum per course.
Dance course
In the dance classes we teach a sequence so that later we can adapt the rhythm, the guitar and finally the singing, also working on the improvisation.
All flamenco styles are taught (seguirillas, soleá, soleá por bulerías, alegrías,...).
Technique course
Our technique classes are focused on working on body positioning, footwork, marking and the correct performance of turns.
You must keep in mind that Flamenco is creative and personal, but it is very important to know and reinforce its fundamental concepts.
Our courses start every Monday. It doesn't matter which week you decide to join the classes, as every week we work with different rhythms and styles.
On Monday we start with a pre-warm-up stretch that helps our teachers assess the level of the class, which is key to deciding which club to work on during the week.
The most important thing is to know and understand flamenco through the body, paying attention to all its parts, gaining confidence in your body and leaving behind shyness.
You will learn to listen to the singing, the guitar and the rhythm, understanding the dialogue of Flamenco, and thus having the necessary tools to launch yourself into improvisation, which is essential in this art.
Due to the importance of the correct learning of these aspects, all the people who have had some previous contact with flamenco are offered the possibility of giving the technique courses separately from the dance courses.
For those who have never danced Flamenco before and wish to do so, Taller Flamenco opens its doors to a special beginners' course for them.

Carmen has been an advanced student at Matilde Coral's school, where she was studying from 1982 to 1995. She has received the teachings of great masters: besides having learned with Matilde Coral herself, she has also learned with other greats such as Javier Latorre Mario Maya, Merche Esmeralda, Javier Baron, and more recently Ángeles Gabaldón and Belén Maya.
With her years of experience in Taller Flamenco, Carmen has become an expert in the beginner's level of flamenco dance and technique.
This complete dancer from Seville has an intense academic training in Spanish Dance and Classical Ballet, studying, among other academies, in the Dance Conservatory of Seville and in Matilde Coral's school.
Dedicated to professional dance since he was 14 years old, he has distributed his art in places as different as Mallorca, Lanzarote, Barcelona or Naples (Italy), even participating as a dancer in the X Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, within Mario Maya's Company. He has been Finalist in the Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco de Córdoba 2001 and Semi-Finalist in the Concurso de Jóvenes Talentos de la Bienal de Arte Flamenco de Sevilla 2002. He also took on a prominent role in Ángeles Gabaldón's show "Inmigración".
Together with artists such as guitarist Daniel Méndez, Moroccan musician Jallal Chekkara, percussionist Antonio Montiel and dancer Nicolia Morris, he formed the mestizo flamenco group Harmattan in 2004. In 2005 he opened his own company in Germany with "Flamenco: made in Spain".
This intense dancer, with a long professional career, began her flamenco studies with the great master Manolo Marín, expanding her learning along with other great artists such as Mario Maya or Eva la Yerbagüena. She has collaborated in many productions and shows: with the already mentioned Manolo Marín (Sangre de la Primavera, Azabache -presented in the Expo'92-), under the direction of Salvador Távora (Las Bacantes, Alhucema) and with Cristina Hoyos' Company (Yerma) among many others.
Lourdes has danced in practically all the Seville tablaos that exist today.
There are many surprises in the art of flamenco. María is one of them, a young dancer rooted in the roots and tradition of flamenco.
His extensive artistic training together with his racial and strength dance allowed him to make his debut at the age of 15 in the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla (2006) and since then he has toured the world with the most prestigious flamenco companies on international tours.
She currently combines her artistic career with classes at Taller Flamenco where she has been a teacher since 2017. As a teacher she knows how to transmit the strength and passion as she expresses it as a dancer on the stage.
Her entire life dedicated to dance, she is a graduate of the Dance Conservatory of Seville, as well as having trained with prestigious dancers.
Her extensive and complete training means that she now combines her work as a flamenco teacher with performances in flamenco tablaos in Seville.
In Taller Flamenco he gives dance and technique classes for intermediate and advanced levels.
