Two weeks in Winter, two weeks in Spring and two weeks in Summer to live intensely the flamenco. A combination of courses with an extensive programme of activities related to the world of flamenco, as the most immediate way of approaching one of the most relevant and genuine manifestations of our culture.

The combination of dance courses and Technique with Spanish and Hand clapping form the basis of Estaciones Flamencas, in which Taller Flamenco It guarantees personal attention to all our students, setting up small groups in all courses.

The definitive body of Estaciones Flamencas is achieved with the diversity of parallel activities, such as cultural visits with Spanish classes, and attention to all the events of flamenco scheduled on these dates.

Two weeks in Winter, two weeks in Spring and two weeks in Summer in which the dreams of a variety of flamenco feelings will come true. Between virtual feelings and dreamed reality.

B&T – > Duration: 120 minutes per day from Monday to Friday. If there is only one person, the class is 90 minutes.

Carmen Rasero "La Trianerita"

Carmen was an advanced student at Matilde Coral's school, studying there from 1982 to 1995. She's learned from amazing teachers: not only Matilde Coral herself, but also other big names like Javier Latorre, Mario Maya, Merche Esmeralda, Javier Barón, and more recently, Ángeles Gabaldón and Belén Maya.

With her years of experience at Taller Flamenco, Carmen has become an expert in beginner flamenco dance and Technique.

Lourdes Recio

This passionate Bailaora, with a long professional career, started her flamenco studies with the great master Manolo Marín, and later expanded her learning with other amazing artists like Mario Maya and Eva la Yerbagüena. She's worked on many productions and shows: with the aforementioned Manolo Marín (Sangre de la Primavera, Azabache – presented at Expo’92), under the direction of Salvador Távora (Las Bacantes, Alhucema), and with Cristina Hoyos' Company (Yerma), among many others.

Lourdes has danced in pretty much all the flamenco tablaos in Seville that are around today.

María Cárdenas

Flamenco art always has surprises in store, and María is definitely one of them! She's a young flamenco dancer deeply rooted in the essence and tradition of flamenco.

Her extensive artistic training, combined with her powerful and soulful dancing, allowed her to debut at just 15 years old at the Seville Flamenco Biennial (2006). And ever since, she's been touring the world with the most prestigious flamenco companies!

Nowadays, she balances her artistic career with teaching at Taller Flamenco, where she's been a teacher since 2017. As a teacher, she knows how to convey the same strength and passion she expresses as a dancer on stage.

Javier Prieto

Javier Prieto is a percussionist and a restless, innovative artist. He approaches flamenco rhythms with a very broad perspective and has an extraordinary talent for teaching.

He teaches Cajon and Hand clapping classes for all levels.

José Antonio González

José Antonio, a restless and passionate musician from Seville, has dedicated his life to the art of flamenco. His journey began as a percussionist, later specializing in flamenco bass, an instrument he uses to accompany renowned groups on local and international stages. His love for flamenco, his technical knowledge, and his versatility make him a complete teacher. At Taller Flamenco, José Antonio teaches Cajon and Hand clapping classes, sharing his experience and passing on the authentic values of this art to his students. His teaching method, based on practice and a close approach, guarantees in-depth learning, suitable for both beginners and advanced students. With small groups and personalized attention, José Antonio not only teaches Technique but also the essence and soul of flamenco, helping each student connect with their passion for this unique art.

Lydia Ledesma

Lydia Ledesma has a degree in English Philology from the University of Seville, and her passion for teaching makes her the perfect teacher for anyone who wants to learn Spanish effectively and with enthusiasm. With a strong academic background and a deep admiration for the Spanish language, Lydia knows how to convey knowledge with enthusiasm and dedication. Her teaching approach focuses on making every lesson meaningful, connecting the language with Spain's rich culture and traditions. Besides her extensive experience teaching Spanish, Lydia stands out for her ability to adapt to each student's needs, offering dynamic and interactive classes. Whether you want to learn Spanish from scratch or perfect your skills, Lydia is the ideal teacher to guide you on your linguistic and cultural journey.

Julia Huggies

Julia Huggias is a professional with a strong background in languages and teaching. Her experience as a Spanish teacher at Taller Flamenco and her background in International Relations have allowed her to develop a teaching approach that integrates language learning with its cultural richness. She speaks Spanish, English, and German, which helps her understand students' difficulties and adapt her methodology for clear and effective teaching. Her training at the Goethe-Institut in Berlin strengthens her knowledge of language didactics, ensuring structured and dynamic learning. Furthermore, her specialization in cultural management allows her to teach Spanish not just as a communication tool, but as a key to understanding Hispanic history and identity. Her passion for the language and its context makes her classes an immersive, enriching, and motivating experience for her students.

Manuel Espinosa "Lito"

"Lito," as Manuel Espinosa is known, has been connected to the flamenco guitar since childhood. His musical talent quickly led him to the best flamenco academies to accompany dance, and from there, he immediately moved on to accompany top-tier artists in both singing and dancing.

Manuel is part of the new wave of flamenco guitar creation, and he accompanies the flamenco singer Alicia Gil. His approach is really interesting, starting from the purest roots of flamenco and evolving into a contemporary flamenco musician.

Samuel Gutiérrez is a guitar teacher at Taller Flamenco and has over twenty years of experience in the world of flamenco. From his teenage years, he received comprehensive training, learning to accompany both dance and singing, and specializing in composing and performing the different rhythms of flamenco. Throughout his career, he has perfected his Technique and learned from renowned masters, which allows him to offer deep and authentic learning. Currently, Samuel combines the classes he teaches at Taller Flamenco with live performances, where he accompanies singing and dancing, demonstrating his passion and commitment to the essence of flamenco. His dedication and knowledge make his classes a unique experience, inviting each student to discover and experience the emotion of flamenco, blending tradition with modern times.

Carmela Espinosa

Carmela Espinosa, a young flamenco singer from Seville and a singing teacher at Taller Flamenco, grew up in Seville's flamenco scene as the daughter of singer Alicia Gil and guitarist Lito Espinosa. Inheriting a flamenco passion and with a solid academic background, Carmela brings a personal style and natural musicality, standing out for her perfect pitch and deep sense of rhythm. Her unmistakable voice and unique mark on every performance make her a one-of-a-kind flamenco singer.

Carmela combines her artistic activities in flamenco clubs (peñas) and family recitals with teaching, where she teaches singing, Hand clapping classes at Taller Flamenco Sevilla. Her musical training and teaching ability make her an excellent teacher, committed to passing on the essence of flamenco singing.

Aurora Reguera

Aurora, a young and talented musician from Seville, has carved out her path in flamenco with a unique blend of dedication, training, and passion. From a young age, she was immersed in the music world, starting with classical flute studies at the Seville Conservatory – a perfect complement to her strong background in flamenco singing. Her unique personality and unmistakable style give her voice a distinct mark, making it authentic and recognizable in every performance. Her musical versatility and deep knowledge of flamenco not only shine on stage but also make her an exceptional teacher. At Taller Flamenco, Aurora shares her experience and passion, masterfully teaching the art of cante (flamenco singing) and Hand clapping. Her classes are an invitation to explore the essence of flamenco, guided by her charisma and absolute mastery of this art.

Silvia Reina

Born in August 1989 in Seville, Silvia spent her childhood and teenage years in the 'Pino Montano' neighborhood, where her passion for music (singing and dancing) started at a very young age.

She's self-taught in various flamenco styles, learning from great masters. In 2008, she moved to Huelva, a city where she soaked up the feeling of its fandangos.

As a social worker, she's had the chance to connect with the Roma community, to whom she feels very artistically connected, as she manages to turn flamenco into a working tool with pedagogical foundations.

Currently, Silvia is at the peak of her musical career, sharing the stage with big names in the flamenco scene.

She's performed numerous recitals in 'peñas' (flamenco clubs) all over Andalusia and is sought after for major festivals and 'tablaos' (flamenco venues) across Spain. She also takes part in several of her own projects, like Tablao en clase.

This young singer is also requested by the dance community for national and international events.

It's worth noting that in April 2018, she had the honor of singing for the Royal Family of Bahrain, a country located in the Persian Gulf.

She currently works as a cante (flamenco singing) teacher at Taller Flamenco.

 

José Ramírez

José Ramírez is a versatile and passionate flamenco singer (cantaor) who moves effortlessly between singing for dance and singing solo, and especially excels in rhythmic singing. His career includes collaborations in discussions and programs at flamenco clubs (peñas), where he shares his knowledge and versatility with flamenco enthusiasts. As a composer, he has captured his vision on the album 'A Nuestro Aire', reflecting his unique and deeply rooted style. At Taller Flamenco, José teaches Hand clapping and cante (flamenco singing) classes, passing on not only Technique but also his deep love for flamenco to his students. His teaching aims to develop an authentic and rhythmic understanding of cante in each student.  

Ángeles Gabaldón

Ángeles Gabaldón, a renowned flamenco dancer from Seville, combines the elegance and power that define pure flamenco in her art. Her passion for this art was born at an early age, developing in academies and tablaos in Seville, where she perfected her Technique and style. With a professional career that includes performances on renowned national and international stages, Ángeles has shared the stage with great flamenco figures and left her mark at prestigious festivals. Besides being a flamenco dancer, Ángeles is a fervent lover of flamenco in all its forms. Currently, she combines her work as a dance teacher at Taller Flamenco with her studies in flamenco singing, showing her constant desire to expand her artistic horizons. With her dedication and sensitivity, Ángeles inspires her students to discover the depth and emotion of flamenco, turning every class into a unique and unforgettable experience.

María Távora

Born into a family with a deep tradition in flamenco and the arts, this outstanding flamenco dancer has lived and breathed art since childhood. Her professional training began at the prestigious Seville Dance Conservatory, where she perfected her Technique and artistic expression. Her career includes numerous performances on national and international stages, collaborating with renowned flamenco companies. Currently, she combines her work as an artist at the iconic Tablao Los Gallos, one of Seville's most prestigious flamenco venues, with her passion for teaching. As a teacher at Taller Flamenco, she imparts to her students not only the Technique but also the soul and essence of this unique art form. Her experience and dedication make her a true reference, both on stage and in the classroom.  

Lorena Zamudio

Lorena Zamudio, a flamenco dancer from Seville, has dedicated her life to flamenco art, standing out for her expressive power and deep connection to tradition. Trained from an early age with renowned masters, her dancing reflects the pure essence of flamenco, combining Technique, elegance, and feeling in every performance. Her artistic career has taken her to important flamenco stages and tablaos in Andalusia and beyond, earning recognition from fans and professionals for her authentic style and ability to convey emotions. As a teacher at Taller Flamenco, Lorena shares her experience and passion with students from all over the world. In her classes, she fosters an enriching and welcoming atmosphere, guiding each student in discovering the Technique, rhythm, and expression that make flamenco so unique. With her dedication and love for this art, Lorena is a key part of the mission to pass on the flamenco legacy.

Isabel Muñoz

She won 1st Prize for Dance at the 19th Andalusian Young Flamenco Competition in 2018. She performs as a solo flamenco dancer at the Gines Flamenco Festival (2017), Young Flamenco Festival at Teatro Central de Sevilla (2018), Olivares Flamenco Festival (2019), Montellano Flamenco Festival (2019), La Luisiana Flamenco Festival (2019), Hinojos Flamenco Festival (2019), and Mont de Marsán Flamenco Festival (2020).

At the same time, she's built her artistic career in tablaos like La Casa de la Guitarra, Auditorio Álvarez Quintero, and Casala Teatro, among others. She takes her dance to theaters worldwide, performing in national and international tours. Plus, she creates choreographic pieces that showcase the most cutting-edge flamenco styles.

She's taught flamenco dance and theory courses in various countries like Russia, the Czech Republic, England, and France. In 2016, she became a teacher for professional flamenco dance studies at the Scaena Carmen Roche Conservatory in Madrid.

 

She holds a degree in Flamenco Dance Pedagogy from the Superior Conservatory of Dance in Madrid (2015) and has furthered her education with a Master's in Physical Activity and Quality of Life (2017) and a Master's in Flamenco Research and Analysis (2020). She's also had several papers published at various dance and research conferences.

Sonia Naranjo

A professional flamenco dancer who's super passionate about teaching flamenco!

Having dedicated her entire life to dance, this flamenco dancer holds a degree from the Seville Dance Conservatory, where she gained a strong technical and artistic foundation. Her training has been enriched by learning from renowned flamenco dancers, which has helped her develop her own versatile style.

Nowadays, she combines her teaching work as a flamenco teacher with performances in famous Seville tablaos, bringing her art to iconic flamenco stages. At Taller Flamenco, she teaches Dance and Technique classes for intermediate and advanced levels, where her detailed approach and passion for teaching help students perfect their Technique and dive deeper into the essence of flamenco.

Her experience, talent, and dedication make her an outstanding professional, committed to preserving and sharing the richness of this unique art form.

CARMEN DE CONDE

Carmen de Conde is a flamenco singer born in Catalonia and now living in Seville, coming from a family of musicians. Her artistic journey includes studying Fine Arts, attending the Taller de Músics in Barcelona, and even getting a scholarship at the Cristina Heeren Foundation. She's super busy professionally, singing in Seville's flamenco tablaos, performing with the Flamenco Orchestra of Seville, and taking part in shows all across Europe. Carmen also loves to teach! She balances her performing career by giving singing and rhythm courses for the Seville City Council, plus classes for dance and guitar. Here at Taller Flamenco, she teaches singing and rhythm, both in-person and online, sharing the real heart and soul of authentic flamenco with all her students.
