Sevillanas Express 2025

From April 28 to May 2 – Monday to Friday.

Because it already smells like a fair, we are organizing this super intensive course again to review the sevillanas before going to the fair.

Are you up for it?

In this course, as in previous years, we will learn and review the sevillanas to be able to put them into practice at the April fair.

This fair will be very special for all those who want to visit it. A new fair full of reunions and joys.

1st Sevillana – Monday: 17:30 > 19:00

2nd Sevillana – Tuesday: 17:30 > 19:00

3rd Sevillana – Wednesday: 17:30 > 19:00

4th Sevillana – Thursday: 17:30 > 19:00

Sevillanas review – Friday: 5.30 pm > 7.30 pm

Lourdes Recio

This intense dancer, with a long professional career, began her flamenco studies with the great master Manolo Marín, expanding her learning with other great artists such as Mario Maya or Eva la Yerbagüena. He has collaborated in numerous productions and shows: together with the aforementioned Manolo Marín (Sangre de la Primavera, Azabache -presented at Expo'92-), under the direction of Salvador Távora (Las Bacantes, Al Hoceima) and with the Cristina Hoyos Company (Yerma) among many others.

Lourdes has danced in practically all the Sevillian tablaos that exist today.

Sonia Naranjo

Her entire life dedicated to dance, she is a graduate of the Conservatory of Dance of Seville, in addition to having trained with dancers of great prestige.

Her extensive and complete training makes it possible for her to combine her work as a teacher of flamenco with performances in flamenco tablaos in Seville.

In Taller Flamenco teaches Dance and Technique  for medium and advanced levels..

María Cárdenas

Of Art Flamenco surprises do not stop arising, María is one of them, a young dancer rooted in the roots and in the flamenco tradition.

His extensive artistic training together with his racial and strength dance allow him to make his debut at the age of 15 at the Biennial of Flamenco of Seville (2006) and since then he has toured the world with the companies of flamenco most prestigious on international tours.

She currently combines her artistic career with classes at Taller Flamenco where she has been a professor since 2017. As a teacher, she knows how to transmit strength and passion as she expresses it as a dancer on stage.

Manuel Espinosa "Lito"

"Lito", as Manuel Espinosa is called, has been linked to flamenco guitar since his childhood. His talent for music quickly took him to the best academies in the world. flamenco to accompany the dance, and from there he immediately goes on to accompany first-rate artists both in singing and dancing.

Manuel is in the circles of the new creation of the flamenco guitar, and is the accompanist of the singer Alicia Gil. His line of work is very interesting, starting from the purest roots of the flamenco until he became a contemporary of flamenco music.

Isabel Muñoz

Winner of the 1st Dance Prize of the XIX Andalusian Youth Flamenco Contest in 2018. She participates as a soloist dancer in the Festival Flamenco de Gines (2017), Festival Jóvenes Flamencos Teatro Central de Sevilla (2018), Festival Flamenco de Olivares (2019), Festival Flamenco de Montellano (2019), Festival Flamenco of Louisiana (2019), Fesitval Flamenco of Hinojos (2019) and Festival Flamenco de Mont de Marsán (2020).

At the same time, he develops his artistic career in tablaos such as La Casa de la Guitarra, Auditorio Álvarez Quintero and Casala Teatro, among others. She takes her dance to different theaters around the world making national and international tours. In addition, he elaborates choreographic pieces where he reflects the most avant-garde currents of the flamenco.

She has taught dance courses flamenco and theory in different countries such as Russia, the Czech Republic, England and France. In 2016 she is a teacher of professional dance education flamenco at the Scaena Carmen Roche Conservatory in Madrid.

 

She has a degree in Dance Pedagogy Flamenco from the Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Madrid (2015) and complements her training with a Master's Degree in Physical Activity and Quality of Life (2017) and a Master's Degree in Research and Analysis Flamenco (2020). In addition, she has several communications published in different dance and research conferences.

María Távora

Dancer from a family of tradition in the flamenco  and in art, where in addition to family experiences, she trained as a dancer at the Conservatory of Dance of Seville.

She has extensive experience as a dancer on stage accompanying various companies of flamenco.

She currently combines her artistic work at the Tablao Los Gallos with her teaching work as a dance teacher at Taller Flamenco.

Javier Prieto

Percussionist, as well as a restless and innovative artist. Javier Prieto approaches the rhythms of the flamenco with a very broad perspective, and has an extraordinary capacity for teaching.

He teaches Cajon and Hand clapping for all levels.

Silvia Reina

He was born in August 1989 in Seville. She lived her childhood and adolescence in the Seville neighborhood of "Pino Montano", where from a very young age she began her love for music (singing and dancing).

He is self-taught in various fields of the flamenco with the help of great masters. In 2008 he moved to Huelva, a city where he was impregnated with the feeling of his fandangos.

As a social worker, she has had the opportunity to be in contact with the gypsy people, to whom she feels very attached artistically since she manages to make the flamenco a work tool with pedagogical foundations.

Today, Silvia is at the peak of her musical career, sharing the stage with great artists on the scene flamenco.

She has numerous recitals in peñas throughout Andalusia, she is in demand at large festivals and tablaos throughout Spain; and participates in several projects of her own such as Tablao en clase.

This young singer is also in demand by the dance sector for national and international events.

It should be noted that in April 2018, she had the honor of singing for the Royal Family of Bahrain, a country located in the Persian Gulf.

She currently works as a singing teacher at Taller Flamenco.

Carmen Rasero "La Trianerita"

Carmen has been an advanced student at the Matilde Coral school, where she was studying from 1982 to 1995. He has received the teachings of great masters: in addition to having learned with Matilde Coral herself, also with other greats such as Javier Latorre, Mario Maya, Merche Esmeralda, Javier Barón, and more recently from Ángeles Gabaldón and Belén Maya.

With his years of experience in Taller Flamenco, Carmen has become an expert in beginner level dance and Technique Flemish.
