Laura Román, a flamenco singer from Málaga who now lives in Seville, is a passionate advocate for the pure essence of “ flamenco.” Her voice, rich in nuance and depth, is distinguished by its fidelity to traditional songs, especially those from her homeland, such as the “Malagueñas” and the “Verdiales.” Laura has a special mastery of the compás, shining brightly in styles such as the “Bulerías” and the “Tangos,” where her energy and talent come through naturally.
Her artistic career has established her as a versatile and authentic performer, capable of moving audiences both on stage and in the classroom. In Taller Flamenco, Laura teaches singing classes, focusing not only on vocal Technique but also on the art of accompanying oneself on the guitar—an essential skill for any flamenco.
Through her passion and dedication, Laura instills in her students the importance of respecting the roots of “ flamenco ” while they develop their own style.
